The short version. Our emails are educational, not medical advice. You opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by emailing us.

1. What our emails are

Eczema Academy sends two kinds of email:

Transactional — your personalized plan PDF, course access information, receipts. These are sent because you took an action (took the quiz, bought a course).
Educational — ongoing eczema content from Carolyn Akinyemi. Only sent if you opted in. Includes an unsubscribe link in every message.

2. Not medical advice

Everything in our emails is general education about eczema research, mechanisms, routines, and approaches. It is not personalized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for consulting a qualified healthcare provider.

3. CAN-SPAM and CASL compliance

Our emails meet the requirements of the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL):

Subject lines are not deceptive
The sender address identifies Eczema Academy
The physical address of the business is included in every commercial email footer
An unsubscribe link is present in every commercial email; opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days

4. Unsubscribe

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or email [email protected] with "unsubscribe" in the subject. We process unsubscribes immediately; if you receive an email after that, it is in-flight at the time of your request.

5. Forwarding

Our emails are intended for the recipient who signed up. If you forward one to a friend, your friend has not consented to be on our list. Please do not add them without their opt-in.
